2022 Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts

David Ruben Piqtoukun is in a unique group of artists that are recognized annually by the Canada Council for the Arts for their achievements. For David this is another recognition by his peers for his many accomplishments through a journey of over 50 years as a sculptor.
